Follow up!

Dear readers.

Our nests were a success in the way that they did not fall apart but now the question remains if birds will use them. Our excitement is all about our hammerkop nest because it's a mess and we really hope it attracts the hammerkop. Here are a few photos that I promised:

On Thursday night we went to the guest house and used the telescope to identify the constellations and things we learn't about the night sky. It was a lot of fun and we saw satellites and Orion. And in case you were wondering a satellite can be the machine or the semi shooting star. We were all shocked when she said no not the machine. The glowing satellite we see every now and again is indeed a ball of gas and rock that is moving through the air due to gravity and lights up because of the gasses causing friction. Who knew???

We will be going back to see Scorpio in winter and yes we were the first to use the guest house telescope!
Until next time, twinkle star goodbye!
