Yet another Tuesday..

Dear readers.

This morning we worked on our blogs and set out the tasks we need to do for the day. We then got onto the cruiser and drove to the van Rensburg avenue to observe the soil changes, where they should and should not bulldoze and to monitor local wildlife for our new arrivals the Zebra and Njalas.

We also found a hole in the fence where it is said to be the poaching hot spot. We then drove out on the dienspad and looked at an already bulldozed road. Cobus quickly got off and catched a Skaapsteker snake!

So we saw that when the top layer is removed all the little buggs and animals come out. So if you don't want a tree to be buldozed you need to mark it very clearl and also brief the driver on how much you want bulldozed.

We also made specimen photos of the Krinkhout tree, this is an endangered species and therefor Cobus needed to mark it so they would not bulldoze it.
We will be doing a soil erosion project on Sondela to prevent the problem and suggest changes.
